Rosalie Osborne Gibb
Having been born and brought up in Norfolk, I both love and am constantly inspired by the wonders of coast and countryside, from surf and sunsets to wildlife and landscapes, not only locally but also further afield.
Having lived and worked in various creative fields in Kent for many years, I returned to my roots in 2002 but only turned my creativity to art in 2015 when a friend suggested I paint something, a boat by the harbour wall, which, several paintings on, led to an invitation to hold an Exhibition at the Norfolk Wildlife Trust in Cley, and, as they say, the rest is history! Since then I’ve exhibited both locally and nationally and my paintings now grace the walls from New Zealand to Canada and many countries in between. I am always honoured and delighted when one of my paintings brings joy to someone else as well as to me!
I paint using different media – watercolours (my first love), acrylics, soft pastels and oils, often combining different techniques and constantly experimenting to improve my skills and expand my creativity. I am honoured to have been elected a Council member of the Art Circle at the 2023 AGM. https://www.rosaliegibbart.com/
