Richard Motley

Richard Motley

My career was in primary education where my interest in painting had full rein. I had always painted and drawn and these skills were very useful in the classroom. My first membership of an Art Group was in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire where I first exhibited. On coming to Norfolk I continued to paint and took the opportunity to join the Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle. Since then I have exhibited regularly with them and have held exhibitions and submitted to the Norfolk Show. I paint and draw because I get great satisfaction from the work I do. If people like it and wish to own a work, then that gives pleasure not only to them but also to me.
