SELECTION PROCESS 2-D Work and Sculpture
The selection panel will be made up of all available members of the Council, except the secretary and treasurer.
All the submitted images will be circulated to the selection committee on Saturday 11th July who will scrutinise them that morning and individually vote “yes” or “no” to each one. No discussion will take place between the members of the committee. Each committee member will return their votes by 2pm on that date. The votes will then be counted and those artworks with a majority “yes” vote will be selected to be in the exhibition. To this end it will be ensured that the selection committee comprises an odd number of members. Submitting members will be notified soon after selection whether or not their work has been selected.
The selected images will then be uploaded to the website exhibition pages and the exhibition will go live on 1st September 2020. It is the responsibility of the artist to notify the NNAC secretary if any of their selected works become unavailable before or during the exhibition. No substitutions will be accepted.
