Jan Motley
I have worked in education, teaching primary children general subjects, with specialism in music, maths and art. My main hobbies at that stage were connected with textile work. On retirement I was seeking a new activity when I discovered printing. Following a course at the Curwen School of Printing, Cambridge, I fell in love with lino cutting. I have been doing this for a number of years and have improved and extended the techniques I now use. I am an active member of the Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle and exhibit with them three times a year. I exhibit at the Norfolk Show and other exhibitions in the local area. My work can be seen in Broadland Frames in Aylsham and at the Willows Gallery in Poringland.
