Demo, Gareth Jones, 28th October 2017​

Several members and some non members attended Gareth Jones’ demo. After telling us a little about himself Gareth set to work on a seascape, using Sennelier pastel card and mostly Unison pastels. He started with very light strokes using the side of the pastels and built up colour and depth gradually. A gentle and pleasing painting was then transformed into a vibrant scene full of movement by the addition of highlights and finishing touches. A most interesting and informative session.
