Janet Harrison

Faced with a choice between the arts and science, Janet Harrison made a career in biomedical science.

Art however was always a passion. She returned to it in her forties as her children grew older, taking A level Art, a diploma course in Art History at the University of East Anglia and further education courses at the Norfolk school of Art and Design.

Janet has been a member of the Norfolk and Norwich Art Circle since 1983. A former Chairman of the NNAC, she has been Honorary Secretary for the past 6 years. She paints mainly in oils, still considering herself very much an amateur artist.
